  I nominate Donncha’s WP Super Cache.

  Basically, WP Super slashdot-proof’s your blog, and on days when you’re not getting slashdotted, it exponentially improves performance.

  Having used it’s previous incarnation (by Ricardo Galli Granada) for some time, I’m acutely aware that what’s so good abou tthis plugin is it’s zero-hacking approach (which means we can all stay current with SVN).
