Whilst listening to a podcast I was surprised to hear that Manchester was now considered the UK’s second city, and I felt something needed to be done about it. Rather than shouting from the rooftops and listing our many creative and arts-based festivals, groups and communities I thought it would be simpler to tell people plainly why we think Birmingham is as great as it is.
